It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie R. Oke (Nokomis, Illinois), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Cole and Mary Cole (Lewiski); her husband Ronald Oke (Os); and her siblings, Barbara Johnson (Gale), Ronald Cole and Jackie Cole.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Samantha Johannsen (Nick), Megan, Aaron and Alyssa Huber; her great grandchildren, Madi, Kennadie, Carter Johannsen and Theo Huber; her daughter Missy Huber (Phil) of Witt; and her siblings, Brenda Rompasky (Dick), Marla Cole, Roger (Gail), Fred (Vanessa) and Buck Cole (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After her retirement from the State of Illinois, she could often be found in her sewing room working on her latest labor of love for someone precious to her or making items to donate to the church bazaar.
