He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bookwalter and June Bookwalter (Smith); and his aunt Margaret "Peggy" Beach. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Ater); his son Zachary Bookwalter of Newton; and his sisters, Barb Bush (Ed) of Normal, IL and Fran Kemmerling (Monroe) of Cary, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
