It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Akins (Noble, Illinois), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Akins and Mary Akins (Bechdoldt); and her brother Charles Akins. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas H. Akins of Olney, Judy Akins of Galesburg, IL, Becky Busking of Effingham, IL and Jack Akins of Paris, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Mary Lee Akins, Sharing in your sorrow. With love and friendship. We have lost a sweet friend. Dan & I, plus our kids, Laura and Danny. We had a lot of fun working together in ICU at St Luke’s hospital in 1975. Friends ever since. My kids called her Auntie Mary Lee. Her talent as an artist and wood carver which items fill our home to this very day! Angels in heaven will be entertained by her. We are cat lovers too, what more can I say, Blossom will miss her too💕”
