He was predeceased by: his parents, Drexal Leroy "Rex" Lawson and Mary Lawson; his son James Bryan "Jim" Lawson; and his brothers, Charles Ray Lawson and LeRoy Neal Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Lesia Lawson of Noble; his children, Matt Lawson (Tender) of Lawrenceville, Kody Hancock of Noble and Kacy Hancock of Tennessee; his grandchildren, AJ, Allie, Stella, Bryan and Jayden; his siblings, Rex Lawson (Peggy) of Lawrenceville, Linda Wilson (Art) of Colorado, Kathy Mills (Mike) of Texas, Ann Thacker (Jerome) of Bridgeport and Donna Pierson of Effingham; and his siblings-in-law, Cherri Scott (Marty) of Olney, Randy Miller of Noble and John Miller (Evelyn) of Noble. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center and Wig Shoppe directly or through the funeral home.
