Donald Roy Herdes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Roy Herdes of Noble, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, CJ Herdes and Eva Grace Herdes (Wyatt); and his brothers-in-law, Means and Roy Fulk. He is survived by: his wife Trudi Herdes of Noble; his children, Valerie Bunting (Jeff) of Albion, Calvin Herdes (Jessica) of Noble and Alison Harvey (Jesse) of Louisville, IL; his grandchildren, Cali, Cate Bunting of Albion, Wyatt, Waylon, Clara Harvey of Louisville, IL and Sawyer Herdes of Noble; his siblings, Donna Oaster (Larry) of Maryville, IL, Dena Fulk of Noble, Dennis Herdes (Diane) of Noble and Darla Means of Newton; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Georgianna Weber of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to Richland Co. Blaze Orange Youth Trapshooters or Full Armor Louisville Youth Trapshooters.
