She is survived by: her husband Jozef Swietek; her children, Janina Leja (late Kazimierz), Franciszek Swietek (Maria), Tadeusz Swietek (Jozefa) and Anna Swietek; her grandchildren, Paweł Świętek (Ewelina), Katarzyna Serwa (Rafal), Grzegorz Świętek (Angelika), Adam Leja (Paulina), Marek Swietek, Grazyna Grabowski (Szymon), Daniel Swietek (Monika), Marcin Swietek (Kinga) and Piotr Swietek; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Asia, Bartek, Emilia, Kasia, Klara, Krystian, Marysia, Maya, Staś, Tomek and Zosia; and her sibling Wladyslaw Komperda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Zachary Church (567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
