He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Saletnik and Jean Saletnik (Andzjewski). He is survived by: his wife Krystyna Saletnik-Stachurska; his children, Jessica Saletnik (Dan Kraft), Josh Saletnik (Jaron Vesely) and Eric Wojciech Stachurski (Angelika); his grandchildren, Caroline and Enya; his siblings, Paulette Carnes (late Keith) and Mark Saletnik (Marisa); and his nieces and nephews, Scott, Michelle, Dana, Danielle (Aaron) and Stephanie (Michael).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Homes of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Hyacinth Basilica (3636 W Wolfram St, Chicago, IL 60618).
