We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 87, Patricia Gruszka (Niles, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter; her children, Judy Moore (Brian), Joseph, Thomas (Kim) and Ron; her grandchildren, Sister Mary Christine, Dan Moore (Mai), Mary Roman (Elfego), Catherine Zonzo (Michael), Patrick Moore, Rachel, Luke and Nicole Gruszka; her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Luana and Max; and her siblings, Lorraine Greenwood (John), Frank and Herb Collins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in her name to the Women's Center.
