She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert; her children, Maryann Fuller (Greg), Paul (Kathy) and Anton Sompolski (Therese); her parents, Luca Mele and Grace Mele; her sister Grace Ross (Phil); her grandmothers, Jo (Jose) of Susan, Sara (Michael), Molly and Margaret; and also Many. She was also cherished by Many Nieces and Nephews.

During visiting hours, it is still recommended to follow the current State of Illinois Guidelines, and guests should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.

She was a mentor, team mate, and personal confidant of many. She was always up for a Friday lunch and loved to be the driver...she was devoted to her students and will be missed by all.
