He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Piento and Bernice Piento; his wife Christine T. Piento (Rafa); his son David Christopher Piento; and his sister Janice Bernice Lipinski (Paul).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Paul Piento (Tanya), Michael Robert Piento (Coille) and Kathleen Janice Healy (Thomas); his grandchildren, Nicholas Andrew, Matthew Joseph, Daniel Joseph, Bryan Louis, Taylor Christine, Danielle Christine and Jessica Anne; his niece Susanne Marie; and his godson Gregg Paul (Sharyl Elizabeth).
