It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joretta Alexander of Niles, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jessalee, Paul, Danny, David Weaver, Susan Posey and Mary Ellen Haught.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Alexander; her sons, Oba Vincent (Reva) and Brian Alexander (Mary); her grandchildren, Kira Belzer (Josiah), Ty Vincent (Megan), Tina Durrenberger (Mark) and Cara Debenedictis; her great grandchildren, Zaiden, Jayce, Addie, Evelyn, Isaac and Layla; and her siblings, Judy Ranieri (Joe) and John Jr. Weaver (Janet). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Church (8149 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
