He was predeceased by: his wife Esperanza G. Cobarrubias; and his siblings, Rolando (Milagros), Amorsolo (Emilia) and Jaime Cobarrubias (Lourdes). He is survived by: his children, Arlene Cobarrubias-Putz (Michael), Lyza Miguel (Rowell) and Leah Cobarrubias Fernando (Desmond); his grandchildren, Sabrina, Ryan, Rhys, Jacob and Ezra; and his siblings, Milagros Marquez (late Fortunato), Melencio (Elsie), Violeta (late Ireneo, Jr.) and Jesus (late Lucia).
