Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert A. Rasmussen; her children, James Rasmussen (Anita) and Mariann Kozinski (late Leonard); her grandchildren, Katelyn Burkhart (Paul), Dana Marie Kozinski, Michael Rasmussen, Mary Claire Rasmussen and Matthew Rasmussen; and her great grandchild Benjamin Leonard Burkhart.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Church (8149 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714).
