He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Niklewicz and Irene Niklewicz; and his close friend John Branson. He is survived by: his siblings, Mitchell Niklewicz (Sandy), Lorraine Wilkens and Barbara Heinrich (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
