He was predeceased by: his grandchild Paige Katsiavelos; his siblings, Penelope Antonopoulos (late Panagiotis) and Panagiota Fotinopoulos; and his siblings-in-law, Ioannis Souleles (late Xanthi) and Lola Vranas (late Paul).
He is survived by: his spouse Athanasia Argyropoulos; his children, Militsa Bairaktaris (Athanasios), Toula Anastos (Dimitri) and Georgia Katsiavelos (Harry); his grandchildren, Ageliki Karahalios (George), Yanni Anastos, Mitso Anastos, Demetra Lymperopoulos (Lymperis), Maria Anna Anastos, Demetri Katsiavelos and Annie Katsiavelos; and his siblings-in-law, Sam Souleles (Soula), Steve Souleles (Asimo), Mary Michaels (Bill), George Souleles (Angie) and Fond.
