With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin S Almazan of Niles, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Benjamin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Benjamin. Though Benjamin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Crispin; and his son-in-law Nixon Hilo. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Almazan (Manderico); and his children, Belen Hilo, Brenia Abellera (Eric), Anthony Almazan and Bennette Cunningham (Rick).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America in his memory.
