He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. DeRosa Sr. and Delores C. Santogrossi DeRosa; his parent-in-law Marvel Guanzon Ruiz; and his grandfathers, Leo Santogrossi (Mildred) and Pasquale (Concetta DeRosa).
He is survived by: his spouse Ma Criselda Ruiz DeRosa; his siblings, Ron DeRosa (Marylynn), Paul DeRosa, Jr. (late Sylvia), Kathleen DeRosa and Lora Citro (Bob); his father-in-law Felipe Ruiz, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Carmelita Ruiz, Ruel Felipe III, Cecilia Ruiz, Bernard Fortunato, Remedios Ruiz, Erwin Napoleon and Evelyn Ruiz; and his cousin Abbondaza (Italian).
