He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Patterson and Hazel Patterson (Knisley); and his siblings, Darline Henry, Ron Patterson and Rick Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Mandi Karvis of Phoenix, AZ; his sister Bonnie Landgrebe of Woodson, IL; and his sister-in-law Sheila Patterson of Forsyth, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
