She is survived by: her husband Harold Worthey of Newton; her sons, Steve Worthey (Cindy) of Mattoon and Ed Worthey (Cindy Utley) of Newton; her grandchildren, Dana Adams (Gary) of Iola, Illinois, Amy Tarr (Travis) of Newton, Illinois and Sarah Horner (Brad) of Dundas; and her great grandchildren, Jayde, Reese, Maya, Marshall, Meyer, Marlee, Cole, Maddox and Maverik.
In loving memory of Shirley, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Newton, Illinois.
