We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 78, Sharon K. Parkhurst of Newton, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Ruth Smith (Elbert); her husband William Robert Parkhurst; her son Dallas Parkhurst; and her siblings, Eddie Smith, Ronald Smith, Larry Smith, JoAnn Ines and Loretta Kenney.
She is survived by: her children, John Parkhurst of Effingham, Betty Barbee (Larry) of Louisville, Timothy Parkhurst of Newton, Joseph Parkhurst (April) of Louisville and Elizabeth Nasserizafar (Reza) of Newburg, IN; and her siblings, Sandra Richardson (Ross), Richard Smith and Barbara Hovis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
