She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Francis and Laura Schmidt (Frichtl); her husband Victor Ward Wagy; her siblings, Ralph, Delbert "Deb", Orville "Archie" Schmidt and Beatrice "Betty" Weatherford; her sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Schmidt, Alfonsina "Al" Schmidt, Virginia Marshall and Joyce Webb; and her sons-in-law, Norbert Wagner and Charles Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Wagner of Effingham, Rahel Wagy (Connie) of Newton, Illinois, Genie Sanders of Terre Haute, Indiana, Chris (Jan) of Robinson, Illinois, Victor Grant Wagy (Debra) of Effingham, Illinois, Jay Wagy (Vonda) of Yale and Dodie Brody of Newton, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Florence Schmidt of Newton.
In loving memory of Rowena, memorials may be made to the Oblong Christian Children's Home.
