He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Alene Carrie Fear (Byrom); his sisters, Florence Britton, Beverly Harness and Bonnie Fear; his brothers-in-law, Richard Britton and Herman Whalen; and his parents-in-law, Loren and Clara Fear.
He is survived by: his wife Fonda Fear; his children, John Fear (Megan Ames) of Effingham, Illinois, Cameron Fear (Senna Adjabeng) of Bloomington, Illinois, Justin Fear of Oblong, Illinois, Andy Fear (Melissa Brown) of Newton, Illinois, Corey Fear (Heather Demma) of Bancroft and Amy Fear of Newton, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Madison Fear, Savannah Fear, Logan Fear, Traeh Badger, Aaliyah Fear, Waylon Fear and Claire Fear; his siblings, Marcella Whalen of Newton, Illinois, Richard "Dick" Fear (Thelma) of Robinson, Illinois and Connie Keller (Robert) of Newton; and his brother-in-law Elmer Harness of Robinson.
