He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Goebel and Virginia Goebel (Sowers); his parents-in-law, George and Hilda Dallmier; his brother Joe Goebel; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Townsend and L. Sue Goebel.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Richard (Stacey) of Newton and Cheryl Louise (Chris) of Newton; his wife Judy Dallmier; his children, Kurtis Goebel (Shannon) of Robinson and Emily Esker (Scott) of Teutopolis; his grandchildren, Gunner, Avery, Jackson, Krosby, Kwyn, Melah, Wyatt, Gannon and Clara; his siblings, Jerry Goebel, Christie Murphy, Mike Goebel (Cindy) and Chuck Goebel (Sandy); and his in-laws, Carolyn Barthelme (Bob), George Dallmier (Michele), Andrew Townsend and Sylvan (Kim).
