With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Kent Phillips of Newton, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Woodroe and Roberta V. Phillips (McSchooler); his stepfather Carl Flynn; his sisters, Rita Zak (Phillips) and Carla Hoffmeister (Flynn); his grandmother Gussie Reynolds; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Minnie Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Phillips of Newton, Illinois.; his children, Harold Phillips of Sainte Marie, Illinois, Carl Phillips (Cari) of Sainte Marie, Illinois, Richard Phillips (Tamara) of Newton, Illinois, Kelly Kocher of Mesa, Arizona and Rachel Pitcher (Tony) of Jewett, Illinois.; his brothers, David Phillips (Darlean) of Bedford, Indiana and Paul Flynn (Connie) of Ridge Manor; and his great grandchild Many. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren.
