He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gorrell and Clare Lucille Gorrell (Tate); his wife Donna Hooker; his daughter Sherry Howard; his grandson Benjamin Fleeharty; and his brother Glen Gorrell.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Gorrell (Cindy) of Newton, Illinois, Rick Gorrell (Bev) of Newton and Gary Gorrell (Kelly) of Olney, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Lyle Howard, Stephanie Roberts (Brent), Jody Howard, Elaine Braun (Glenn), Derek Gorrell (Jessie), Jennifer Gorrell, Jenna Pitcher (Lucas), Heather Schulze (Josh) and Logan Fleeharty (Miranda); and his sister Karen Callahan of Bloomington. He is also survived by Several Great Grandchildren.
