He was predeceased by: his parent Major William; his daughter Carrie; and his brother Jerry Stephens. He is survived by: his mother Reba M. Stephens (Tracy) of Oblong, IL; his children, Michael Stephens of Robinson, IL, Dylan Stephens (Zachary Stephens) of Newton, IL, Tyler (Cassandra Rogers) and Amanda Scott; his grandchildren, Alexander Scott, Luke Scott, Kaylee Stephens, Addy Stephens, Cash Stephens, Alexis Scott, Ashly Jo Scott, Emma Colwell, Faith Rogers, Keeton Rogers, Deryck Rogers and Braylin Rogers; his great grandchildren, Airlynn Scott, Braxton Scott, Andria Garfield and Thanyel Garfield; his significant other Jeannie Rogers of Newton, IL; and his brothers, Ricky Stephens of Robinson, IL, John Stephens (Susan Mitchell) and Larry (Donna Stephens).
