He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Douthit of Newton, Illinois.; his children, Tammy Mercier of Newton, Illinois, Harry Dale Douthit, Jr. of Romeoville, Illinois, Tara Burke (Matt) of Newton, Illinois, Troy Douthit of Newton and Nicola Haitfield of Dwight, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Heather Sprague (Billy), Ashley Mericer, Cody Douthit, Joseph Burke, Leah Burke, Allie Burke, Mackenzie Hatfield, Joshua Burke, Braxton Douthit and Grayson Hatfield; his great grandchildren, Chloe Becker, Madison Sprague, Mia Sprague and Michael Sprague; and his siblings, Gary Keith Douthit (Kathy) of Effingham and Sharon Field (Mike) of Altamont.
