He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Golden Holsapple and Marie Holsapple (Gabel); his wife Wilma Pauline Kerster; his daughters, Shirley Holsapple and Marie Ann Holsapple; and his sister Kathryn Rogene Foreman.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Holsapple of Olney, Illinois, Theresa Holsapple of West Salem, Illinois and Thomas Holsapple (Jacque) of Rose Hill; and his granddaughters, Cami and Cindy Glen.
