She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence F. Schackmann and Clara Marie Schackmann (Bergbower); her siblings, Denis Schackmann, Art Schackmann, Shirley "Lee" Schackmann and Elizabeth Schackmann; and her sister-in-law Vickie Dasenbrock.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Dasenbrock of Newton, Illinois.; her children, Chris Dasenbrock (Michelle) of Newton, Illinois and Yosha Wilson (Nile) of Sainte Marie; her grandchildren, Briley, Olivia and Claire Dasenbrock; her siblings, Phyllis LaFever (Ron) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Helen Galvin (Reg) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mark Schackmann (Lois) of Effingham, Illinois and Norbert Schackmann of Mattoon, Illinois.; and her siblings-in-law, David Dasenbrock (Steph) of Olney, Illinois, Tim Dasenbrock of Effingham and Sue Diel (Bruce) of Newton, Illinois..
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (404 W Jourdan St, Newton, IL 62448). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus (707 S Van Buren St, Newton, IL 62448).
