She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Kniola and Marian Kniola (Milcarek); her daughter Jean Ann Andersen (Kurt); and her son-in-law Sam Alkalaf. She is survived by: her children, Steven K. Mitchell (Tammy), Douglas L. Mitchell (Barb), Jill Marie Alkalaf (Sam) and Lea Ann Slotkin (Bobby); her husband Kenny; and her brother Jack Knoila. She is also survived by four children, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In loving memory of Carol, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
