It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Bowman of Newman, Illinois, born in Hume, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Newton and Madge Taylor (Finney); her husband Brownie; and her siblings, James, Ron, Gene Taylor, Marlene Taylor, Betty Lily and Edna Osborne.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Long; her grandchildren, David Vermillion, Chelsi Barker (Jonathon) and Sheri Stephens (Chris); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Isaac, Samuel, Alaina, Rebekah, Elizabeth and Jonathan; her siblings, Kay Carter (Rich), Bernadine Andrews (James), Jack Taylor, Jerry Taylor (Alicia), Donald Taylor, Bernie Taylor (Becky) and Allen Taylor (Marie); and her stepson Michael Low (Carol). She is also survived by family; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials in Barb's honor be made to the Newman American Legion Post #201 or organization of the donor's choice.
