He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schluntz and Irma Schluntz (Shurte) of Crete; his brother Roger Schluntz; his parents-in-law, Ray and Verna Becker (Nacke); and his brother-in-law Alan Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Becker; his children, Brian (Jill) of Aurora, Gary (Elizabeth) of Morris, Craig (Wendy) of Morris and Michele of Minooka; his grandchildren, Trevor, Matt (Amanda), Kelsey (Joe), Douglas (LeeAnn), Grant and Marcus; his great grandchild Elliot; his sister Janice Schultz (Les) of Morris; and his sister-in-law Sue Becker of Crete. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church in his honor.
