With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen T. Kracher (Newark, Illinois), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank J.; her children, Karen Pickard (Scott), Judy Lyons (Jeffrey), Frank Kracher (Barbara Fisher) and Jeanne Kracher (Laura McAlpine); her grandchildren, Christopher Pickard (Audra), Allison Evans (Tyler), Benjamin Lyons (Mariah), Katherine Pickard (Miguel Abreu), Melissa Ward-Kracher (Zach Stern), Hannah Lyons (Daniel Gonzalez) and Amalia McCallister; her great grandchildren, Claire, Grace Evans, Alexandra and Aras Pickard; her siblings, Stephen Martin, Marcia Burin and Steve; and her parents, George Martin and Magdalen Martin. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and the Covid lockdown all contributed to the end of a still spirited 93-year-old's time on Earth.
