He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Dierzen (Ratliff) and Lewis Dierzen; his sister Peggy; and his nephew Louis "Louie". He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann (Chapman); his grandchildren, Adam Dierzen (Amy) of Algonquin, Kytrina Garrett of Morris, Caleb, Emma, Isabella, Madelin and Eloise Dierzen of Newark; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Brassal of Mazon, Mythius Garrett of Morris, Amelia and Adaline Dierzen of Algonquin.
