He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jensen and Sadie Jensen (Miller); his siblings, Edward "Eddie", Charlotte Colley (late Jay) and Sarah Mosher (late William); his son Robert; and his granddaughter Kelly Jensen.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Elizabeth) and Laurie Jackson (Rex); his grandchildren, Kimberly Roberts (Eric), Jennifer Turner (Troy), Jody Johnson (Ron), Kara Youngberg (Ryan), Rex Everett Jackson and Michael Jensen Jr.; his great grandchildren, Hailee, Owen, Blake, Kaitlyn, Charlee, Sophia and Theodore; and his close friend Janet Jensen.
