Mathre of Newark, Illinois, born in Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace and Thelma Beardsley Sr. (Knutson); her husband Richard L. Mathre; her brother Wallace Beardsley Jr.; and her sister-in-law Norma Beardsley.
She is survived by: her son Brian R. Mathre (Teresa Englert) of Newark, IL; her grandchildren, Ashlee Bullis (David) of Minooka, IL, Scott Mathre (Ashley Wilburn) of Newark, IL, Aaron Mathre of Romeoville, IL and Benjamin Mathre of Romeoville, IL; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Nolan, Marian, Austin, Abigail, Ruth Ann Benoist of Goldfield, NV and Nyla Winchell (Terry) of Sterling, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Open Door Rehabilitation Center in Sandwich, IL, Joliet Area Community Hospice, or Millington Methodist Church in Alice's name.
