With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Epperson of New Windsor, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Epperson and Anna Lea Tapley Epperson; his stepdaughter Colleen Sherbeyn; and his brothers, Denny, Roy Epperson and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Epperson; his children, Gary "Pete" Epperson (Cindy), Darla Borders (Darren), Deena Adams and Jeremy "Buddy" Epperson (Megan); his stepsons, William Powell II and Aaron Powell; his stepson-in-law Scott Sherbeyn; his siblings, Gary Epperson (Mary), Donna Coons (Mike) and Elma "Edie" Henderson; and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Kipp (Dan). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for the family.
