It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Newberry of New Windsor, Illinois, born in Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Morton and Ruby Clark Morton; her husband Robert Newberry; her daughter Cheryl Taylor; her granddaughter Jennifer Krider; and her siblings, Shirley Faulk, Wendell Morton, Joe Morton, Richard Morton and Eugene Morton.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Krider (Annette) of Kirksville, MO and Joyce Billow (Ken) of Starkville, MS; and her siblings, Joyce Billington, Gladys Johnson, Keith Morton, Doug Morton, Wayne Morton, James Morton and Bob Morton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
