It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dallas D. Switzer of New Windsor, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Switzer and Vernie Williams Switzer; his wife Pauline Carlson; his children, Cindy Feik and Brad Switzer; his sister Sandra Allison; and his brother-in-law Tedo Allison.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Janalee Switzer of New Windsor and Greg Feik of New Windsor; his grandchildren, Darci Banks of Cape Coral, Casey Switzer (Micaela) of Viola, Megan Daniel (Brett) of Coal Valley, Calynn Schiess of New Windsor and Nicki Feik of Ankeny, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Switzer, Avery Daniel, Aiden Switzer, Reese Daniel and Kinnick Schiess. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dennison Funeral Home - Viola (1601 13th St, Viola, IL 61486). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Cemetery (130 Walnut St, New Windsor, IL 61465).
Memorial contributions may be left to the New Windsor Public Library or the New Windsor Volunteer Fire Department.
