He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Overturf and Helen E. Nickel Overturf; and his wife Ruth Overturf. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Brodt (Bud) of Sherrard and Cheryl Powell (Dana) of New Windsor; his grandchildren, Rhiannon Daves (Ben), Cortney Breeden (Tony), Riley Powell (Robin), Isaac Powell (Renee) and Dayton Powell; his great grandchildren, Gary, Bryce, Zoe, Linkoln, Madilynn, Deacon and Alexander; and his great great grandchild Ronin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Swedona Lutheran Church (1493 Knoxville Rd, Lynn Center, IL 61262). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
