He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Allison and Hanna L. Burgeson Thorp; his wife Martha Davenport; and his siblings, John, Bob, Marge, Marian, Lois and Ruthie.
He is survived by: his daughter Allison Pitman (Joe); his grandchildren, Collin Pitman (Erica) and Hanna Pitman; and his great grandchildren, Alex and Mason.
