He was predeceased by: his parents, John Banis and Jean Banis (van Hecke). He is survived by: his wife Linda (Salach); his daughters, Jennifer Brault (Keith) and Cheryl Seiber (David); his grandchildren, Donato Gentile, Jr., Nevaeh Seiber, Matteo Seiber, Reagan Brault and Jaxson Brault; and his siblings, Lynn Schmidt (Greg), Susan Banis, Diane Kiaunis, Michelle Melone and Tia Starcevic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
