He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cockrell and Helen Reasons; and his siblings, Bettye Retzlaff (late Gene), Willetta Nabors (late Ron), Robert Cockrell (Linda), William Cockrell (late Bonnie) and Mary Cetnar (Casey).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Cockrell; his children, Donald Cockrell (Elizabeth), Steven Cockrell (Meredith) and Amanda Cockrell-Tapalla (Rudy); his grandchildren, Kyle Cockrell, Christopher Cockrell, Logan Cockrell, Delaney Cockrell, Jackson Tapalla, Kailey Tapalla and Nathan Tapalla; and his siblings, Dee Weddington (late Tom), Paul Cockrell (Karen), Ronald Cockrell (Sharon) and Carroll Cockrell (Flo).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Wounded Warriors, Welcome Home, or a charitable organization of your choice.
