With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Brown of New Lenox, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester C. Brown (Buster) of Jude's Catholic Church; her parents, Donald Nice and Myrtle Nice; her brothers, Donald L. Nice, Marvin R. Nice (Doris) and Larry E. Nice (Joann); her in-laws, Lester E. and Fern Brown; and her pets, Maya Jean and Cash.
She is survived by: her brother Roland L. Nice; her children, George Brown (Renee), Charlene J. Troyer, Cherie Doyle (James) and Matthew L.; her grandchildren, Jaylyn Sedziol (Matthew), Leah Brown, Garrett Brown, Emily Brown, Hannah Brown, Zachary Troyer, Jacob Troyer, Nicholas Troyer and Megan Doyle; her great grandchildren, Riley, Luna, Gideon and Samuel Sedziol; and her sisters-in-law, Shelby Vogrin (George) and Rosemary Larson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Ruth Ellen, to Childerguild of Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL or Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue, Inc., Plainfield, IL.
