It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert T. Stromberg (New Lenox, Illinois), who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stromberg and Viola Stromberg. He is survived by: his significant other Rose Mary Stromberg (Hubert); his children, Debbie Purvis (Bill), Michael Stromberg (Janet), Diane Garland (Chuck) and Denise Kostelz (Frank); his grandchildren, Kyle Purvis (Stephanie), Sarah Kothe (Nate), Kate Lindley (Keenan), Mark Stromberg (Erin), Brian Garland (Katy), Amy Laskowski (Rich), Ben Garland (Morgan), Tim Garland (Breanna), Kelley Bruce (Jim), John Kostelz and Rachel Kostelz; and his great grandchildren, Billy, Samara, Weston, Harlow, George, Logan, Grace, Robert, Cole, Dylan, Brayden, MaKenzie, Harper, Sadie, Remy and Casey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Bob's name to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, a cause that was very dear to Bob's heart, or Lightways Hospice.
