He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Schurman and Lois Schurman; his wife Paula Schurman; his children, Jacob Schurman (Shannon), Abigail Barr (Adam) and Nicholas Schurman; his grandchildren, Lily, Everley, Mila Barr and Violet Schurman; and his sister Diane Schaap (Ronald). He was also cherished by three nieces and two nephews.
