He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Mary Young (McNabb); and his siblings, Clara Kilgore, Opal Copeland, Odelle Gamble, George Young and Carlton Young.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Young (Sabin); his children, Cathy Hill (Jeff) and Michael Young (Kris); his siblings, Harold Young, Joyce Cox and John Young; and his grandchildren, Lisa Ponce, Mike Young (Allision), Ryan Young (Dominique), Michelle Dandurand (Doug), Amanda Hill and Katherine Agee. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chicagoland Racing Hall of Fame or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
