He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Tuftedal and Anna Tuftedal; his wife Dorothy R. Tuftedal; and his brothers, Kenneth Tuftedal (late Ann) and Morton Tuftedal (late Irene).
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Schmidt (Kent) and Debbie Nick (late David); his grandchildren, Danielle Ryan (Timothy), Derek Nick (Jill), Lindsay Weis (Rob) and Jason Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Jack Ryan, Adam Ryan, Henry Siovaila and Luke Ryan; and his sister Helen Johnson (late Ralph). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
