We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2023, at the age of 71, Michael E. Athey of New Lenox, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Athey and Dorothy Athey (Barth). He is survived by: his wife Joyce "Dixie" Athey (Mech); his children, Michael Athey (Jamie) and Rebecca Johnson (Dan); and his grandchildren, Jayden Athey, Ella Athey, Cole Athey, Dylan Johnson, Harper Johnson and Brody Johnson.
