He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Compton and Catherine Compton (Paradis); his siblings, William Compton, Carolyn Widen (James) and Lenny Compton; and his father-in-law James B. Waters, Jr. (Jacqueline).
He is survived by: his sister Tamara Reif; his mother-in-law Judith Waters; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Waters (Albert Ugarte), Jeanine Ochoa (Ricardo) and James B. Waters III (Beth); his nieces and nephews, Shelly Bou Samra (George), James Widen Jr. (Corinna), Kylie Parpart (Aaron), Tyler Reif, Ryan Reif (Amber Fredericksen), Kathryn Waters, Megan Waters, Alexandra Ochoa, Isabella Ochoa and Seamus Ochoa; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Louis Bou Samra, Maya Bou Samra, Tony Bou Samra, Maryam Bou Samra, Eliana Bou Samra and Payton Reif.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Mike's memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Cancer Support Center.
